I first noticed Pate about the time he moved to Mustinkulman Kennels. Jacqualine Lincoln of Armahani Kennels and I were organising to collect and import semen from a few boys back in 2012 and we contemplated Pate before deciding to wait and collect from a few older boys first.
In the meantime, Pate has sired a few litters in Finland and his offspring have inherited many of his nice qualities including his lovely temperament. Recently, I was discussing a few boys with Tuula. As plans evolved I thought again of Pate, and after mentioning him to Jacqualine and the late Vanessa Brotto of Articmal Kennels and getting expressions of interest from both, I approached Tuula to collect Pate at the same time that she was taking Rölli to the vet for collection. And so we have a small piece of this wonderful boy whom we look forward to including in our breeding plans. There's a beauty in collaborating with other breeders and we look forward to seeing what he can produce for Australia in the future . Our thanks to Tuula once again.
