I'm so very excited, Hessu is finally coming to Australia. Hessu was among the first overseas Lappies i ever laid my eyes on and his memory endured. I love everything about this boy, from his gorgeous structure and lovely expression to his familiar but thrilling pedigree. He reminds me so much of Dolce and sure, there are similarities in the lines, but he was just too nice to even try to resist. He lived at Eisenfest Kennels where he had produced some truly lovely offspring before he moved to the UK to bestow his good looks and genes on the UK population, and we're hoping he will bring that same lovely quality to Australia. Whilst i didn't exactly know my plans for Hessu, i couldnt resist contacting his owner, who was only too happy to discuss having him collected for us. His dam, Aino is truly beautiful and has produced some lovely offspring at Lapinpeikon Kennels. The more i see of her and her brother Casper and their contribution to Lappies in Finland the more i adore them. I first noted the sires sister Lumiturpa Jäähile a couple of years back and was instantly reminded of Lumiturpa Emmi. I mentioned her to Jacqualine Lincoln at Armahani who told me that she was her inspiration behind contacting Lumiturpa Kennels about Emmi. What an absolute thrill, then, to have a small piece of Hessu here, and in the future, his offspring, to complement our lines.
Hessu continued receiving eye clearances up until the age of 10. His results are available to view on The Kennel Club (UK) website here. His Koiranet (Finnish Kennel Club) link is here
